About Me
Hi, I’m Emily Louise.
Over the years I have supported over 200 pet owners in saying goodbye to their loved ones, providing sensitive, compassionate, and dignified services to those whose pets have passed or are soon to do so.
I have always had pets since before I can remember, so I understand first hand how hard losing an animal companion can be, whatever the circumstances or whatever age you may be.
After my beloved cat, Midnight, passed away unexpectedly one night, my aim is to provide care and support to those experiencing the grief of losing a pet. And over the years I have worked with a whole range of animals including cats, dogs, guinea-pigs, rats, fish, lizards, goats, sheep, and horses – to name but a few.
I currently have two cats, Sephi and Micah, who provide me with all the joy and comfort of treasured family members, as well as lovely warm feet on cold evenings.

I studied history for my BA at the University of Cambridge, and the evolution of human funerary practices for my MA at the University of York – with special study on international repatriation and reburial of historical remains in modern times.
I have spent several years operating a pet crematorium - organising services, operating the crematory, and helping people choose the right memorials for their pets - and I am qualified by the Blue Cross to provide pet loss support, having completed their CPD Standard Office accredited Pet Loss Support course.
I am also trained as an End-of Life/Death Doula for humans, having trained with Living Well Dying Well and completing their Crossfields Institute Quality Mark programme Foundation Course in 2025. I am currently undertaking their advanced Diploma course whilst volunteering at my local hospice in my spare time.
